Video Camera, Camera, Tripod.

Throughout this whole process, we will be film and taking pictures so that we can make a poster, a website and analyse the images to distinguish what looks good and what doesn't, we will also have to figure out are Location Recess because we will be looking at lots of different places where we can film. For the process we need a Digital Camera, Video Camera and Tripod.

The Digital Camera

The camera we are using to take still images is called a Nikon D40, this is a brilliant small compact camera, and is very efficient. It has a 6MP and the images look very good. for more information about about this camera here is a brilliant website to compare it with others.

The Tripod
The Tripod is a very helpful tool that you place the camera on top, it becomes firmly attached so the camera remains steady. The tripod is very light and is easy to get into small and tight places, for example in corners, this allows us to catch steady clips without holding the camera.
You can also tilt the camera up and down, and the Tripod allows you to do this very smoothly which gives you a nice clean shot.
You can also track with the Tripod and follow a person walking across, if you held the camera and did this, you would get a very shaky shot, and the Tripod reduces this effect.
I think having the tripod is a great asset to have as if gives us nice clean shots when needed.

The VideoCamera - Our Sony Handy cam is easy to use with good active electronic image stabilization and a built-in USB cable for quick uploads. It gives us nice clear videos and also has very clear results, its also nice and compact which is good for traveling and hand-held shots.
